Here’s something for you to chew over the turkey, or while you have a quiet moment over the holiday season. All details are on the attached sheets with a bio of each of the 10 nominee’s chosen by a ‘Cheek’ of BUMS at a recent gathering. Get your votes back to me asap (to stop you worrying about who to choose over Xmas) but by no later than Wednesday January 12th and we will see which four players join this selected group who have already been inducted into the Players Hall of Fame:- Brett Favre, Emmitt Smith, Marshall Faulk, Wesley Walls, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Marvin Harrison, Gary Anderson and Morten Andersen. Hall of Fame Owners. In an attempt to escape the drop Stampy has entered the Hall of Fame for the second time with a 56 point week that lifts him above H by 1 point. He’ll likely be back in the drop zone after MNF as H has Brady and Dillon to go in that game, but this could be the foundation for David’s escape. Mark is also looking good for another visit, sitting just 6 points short with both James and Wayne to play in the Sunday Night game. Play-offs taking shape -Not. With just 2 weeks to go 27 team’s are still in with a post season shout! All of the AFC Divisions have been won by New England, Pittsburgh, Indi and San Diego while the Jets look good for a wildcard at 10-4. Baltimore have the second slot at the moment at 8-5 ahead of hard charging Buffalo & Jacksonville and slumping Denver all at 8-6. Not mathematically out are Cinci, Houston and Kansas City at 6-8. In the NFC Phili have Home Field Advantage and Atlanta the other bye week. Green Bay (8-6) are in but Minnesota also 8-6 are not. Seattle lead the West at 7-7 while the second wildcard at present is between Carolina, New Orleans and St Louis (all 6-8). Still only 1 game out at 5-9 are Arizona, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Giants, Tampa Bay & Washington. A 10-6 AFC team could miss the play-offs while a 6-10 NFC team get in! BUMS on Seats. We are at BUMS HQ tonight from 6:30pm for Baltimore @ Indianapolis but not meeting for the MNF Patriots/Dolphins game. Remember Sky are showing Green Bay @ Minnesota on Xmas Eve and have a doubleheader on Xmas Day but we will get together again at HQ on Boxing Day from 6pm for the usual Sunday Doubleheader.
